China Space Missions: China Plans Ambitious Space Missions: Tianwen-2, Tianwen-3, and Tianwen-4

BEIJING: China plans to launch three space missions in the next years: Tianwen-2 to examine asteroids, Tianwen-3 to gather samples from Mars, and Tianwen-4 to investigate the Jovian system. The Tianwen-2 mission is expected to be launched in 2025.

Just before this, official media said that a Chinese probe that was carrying samples from the Moon’s far side had returned to Earth on June 25, ending a technically challenging 53-day journey that was hailed as a first for the entire globe.

After observing and analyzing the lunar soil samples returned by the Chang’e-5 mission, Chinese researchers have found natural few-layer graphene for the first time.

 The China National Space Administration (CNSA) reports that the Chang’e-6 lunar probe was launched in May at the proper time.The combination of the Chang’e-6 lunar probe and the Long March-5 Y8 carrier rocket was transferred vertically to the launching area at the Wenchang Space Launch Center in south China’s Hainan Province, the CNSA said.

China plans to launch Tianwen-2, Tianwen-3, and Tianwen-4 missions.
